About the retreat: (English)
We’ll gather together in Österlen at the enchanting, Bäddar och Ängar, to feel nourished and nurtured while welcoming, embodying and exploring the season of autumn and caretaking the nervous system through a variety of practices, including breathwork, yoga, meditation, deep rest & inquiry.
Expect intentional, intuitive and deep sequences that support the emotional, energetic and physical bodies as well as the nervous system.
It’s grown harder to label the style of yoga I teach as it’s become a complex blend of what I’ve studied over the years: hatha, katonah, yin, and restorative.
I teach on alignment, energetics, the organs, the breath, and the nervous system while doing my best to use language to guide you in moving your body through space in a way that assists you to feel and land closer to you.
Classes can be structured to meet a variety of levels, but this retreat is not recommended if this is your first time practicing yoga.
I often describe this specific style of Breathwork as couples therapy between you and you. It is a dynamic and active meditation technique that harnesses the intelligence of the breath, your breath, to help soften the analytical mind while supporting the body and the nervous system in an emotional and energetic release.
This practice can leave you feeling deeply grounded, less burdened, authentically you, and more at home within your body.
We’ll have “sleep prep” evening classes where you’ll be guided through a short pranayama and meditation practice or a restorative and reiki session to support you in integrating the contents of the day and preparing for sleep.
Writing is woven into my daily life and so I always weave it into my retreats and gatherings.
During this particular retreat that can look like having specific writing prompts before or after sessions and writing prompts to take with your throughout our days together.
During the afternoon and evening there will be plenty of free time to enjoy the jacuzzi, wander to the ocean or simply nap, read and relax and enjoy the surroundings.

In my humble opinion, high quality and fresh food is an important element of any retreat, which is why we have the talented Lotta Sernerup nourishing us during our days together. Lotta is well known in the Malmö area for Lotta Love and Café Mellis. Alongside her culinary expertise, Lotta is also a mom, nurse, doula, birth coach, yoga teacher and a reiki practitioner. It will be a dream to have here there with us!
